Published Author, Writing Coach, and Narrative Specialist

As a published author, Jennifer brings authority, credibility, and depth to conversations about autism, neurodivergence, and system reform. Her writing work informs her keynote speaking — not as theory, but as practice — allowing her to articulate complex ideas with clarity, nuance, and impact.

Alongside her keynote work, Jennifer supports professionals, advocates, and organisations worldwide as a writing coach, helping them develop clear, ethical, and influential communication across:

  • Reports and assessments

  • Policy submissions and briefing papers

  • Academic and professional writing

  • Public-facing narratives and media commentary

  • manuscripts and published works

This expertise is particularly valuable for authors, leaders and organisations operating in youth justice, education, disability, and government, where written language can directly shape decisions, risk outcomes, and life trajectories for young people. Jennifer has been working with authors globally since 2011 offering co-writing and structural editing. Her writing course Write Publish Promote has supported emerging and established writers, advocates, and professionals to transform lived experience, research, and expertise into clear, publishable work that influences systems, policy, and public understanding.

Jennifer helps authors recognise how written and spoken narratives:

  • Shape how a manuscript is received, interpreted, and taken seriously by publishers, editors, and readers

  • Influence credibility, authority, and trust — often before a single page is read

  • Either obscure a powerful message through unclear framing, or sharpen it into work that resonates and endures

  • Determine whether lived experience and expertise are dismissed, diluted, or positioned as legitimate knowledge

  • Affect how difficult or sensitive material is handled ethically, without sensationalism or self-censorship

  • Turn personal stories into publishable narratives with purpose, structure, and audience awareness

  • Support writers to move from “something important to say” to “something others are ready to read”

  • Enable authors to write with confidence, clarity, and intent — without losing voice or integrity

Her writing course Write, Publish, Promote has supported emerging and established writers transform lived experience and expertise into clear, publishable work that captivates readers and influences systems, policy, and public understanding.

Participants learn how to:

  • Move a manuscript from idea to completion with structure, momentum, and confidence

  • Clarify voice, audience, and purpose without diluting authenticity

  • Strengthen narrative, argument, and flow so work is publication-ready

  • Understand the publishing landscape, including traditional, independent, and hybrid pathways

  • Prepare manuscripts for submission, pitching, and editorial review

  • Navigate rejection, feedback, and revision without losing direction or voice

  • Build credibility as an author while remaining ethical, grounded, and intentional

  • Develop a practical promotion strategy that aligns with values — not hype

  • The course is particularly valued by writers who want their work to be read, taken seriously, and make an impact, rather than sit unfinished or unpublished.

Jennifers ability to combine authorship, writing expertise, and systems thinking makes her coaching especially powerful for authors seeking to shape policy, practice, and public discourse.
